Collected: Church Mission Statements
Content: Students presented the churches they built last week; we then discussed the process and purpose of the assignment. Students also evaluated each church in writing; this was then collected. Notes were given on the first chapter of the Church History textbook, the six models of church. We read and discussed how the models were demonstrated in the story on page 21 of the text; students were then asked to respond, in writing, to either question #11 or #12 at the bottom of page 19. This was then turned in before the end of the block.
